The former Sandbar Club in the heart of Henley Beach has had a makeover and is now the highly anticipated Seamores, and they did such a great job! Be gone dark and dingy, welcome the airy, golden hour, photo perfect and retro vibes.
We made our way to the top and there it was the proud new name of the venue on a sensational plaque across the wall. The retro restaurant and bar are indoor with booths enough to hold an army. The balcony itself will fit about 60 pax. Fabulous for a great night out with your friends, especially during the warmer weather.
We immediately took the advice of one of the staff to check out the balcony, and it’s million-dollar, they weren’t wrong. Henley Beach delivered the best views, and we didn’t want to move anywhere else.
The sun stroked our skin gently while the breeze perfectly touched our face. It was a matter of time until we fell in love with this new venue. You wouldn’t think you were inside a 100-year-old building. Everything seems so relaxing, people started coming, and they had the same reaction as us, especially those that used to go to the old Sandbar Club.
At 6.30 pm sharp when the invitation stated the party officially started, we were very impressed with how efficient and on time they were by bringing the finger food out. I was excited to try their Garlic Naan Bread; it was light, fluffy and tasty, packed with flavours that fill you up right away.
Not long after, the pizzas came. Hawaiian and Vegetarian, and it was full of toppings. We couldn’t miss out on the Italian Meatballs as they came out hot and smelling amazing. The Falafel was well cooked and crumbled so well. And have you had their Polenta Chips accompanied with a glass of sparkling wine? From now on they are an inseparable pair in my book.
Seamores opened its door to the public at 8 pm sharp that night. When we left, there were already people lining up to get in. This place is going to be the hype in summer that you won’t want to miss out. Adelaide Influencers and Bloggers were spotted having drinks on the opening night and were having a great time. We loved Seamores and the new concept it has brought to our attention. We cannot wait to come back in the New Year.
Opens every day from 11 am to 11 pm from Monday to Wednesday and until noon from Thursday to Sunday.
