Located in the heart of the CBD, Arbour Kitchen has been creating beautiful dishes using locally-sourced seasonal ingredients since 2018. Arbour Kitchen is unashamedly South Australian, supporting local suppliers and using their high-quality ingredients, such as Clare Valley eggs, Hahndorf bacon, Kangaroo Island honey ice-cream, and of course local fruits and vegetables!

The beautiful, modern space is perfect for a gorgeous breakfast or lunch with the people you love! Lush plants hang from the ceiling and decorate the floor-space, and light wooden tables and chairs in a rattan style bring a natural and fresh feeling to the space. The fresh atmosphere is enhanced by the big, open windows which allow a light breeze to flow through the eatery and views of the lovely Whitmore Square.
The lunch menu at Arbour Kitchen, which is available from 12pm to 2:30pm, offers a range of tasty burgers, rich house-made pastas, and lovely salads – all of which are hearty, healthy, and fresh! An incredible selection of alcoholic beverages from the Adelaide Hill’s Brackenwood Vineyard accompany the menu.
The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger has a beautiful balance of savoury, sweet, and spicy. The bun is light, fluffy, and sweet, and pairs wonderfully with the crispiness of the buttermilk fried chicken. Caramelised onion adds a sweet sensation to the burger, and a hearty flavour. The sriracha aioli adds a mild spice to the burger, and combines with the sweetness of the caramelised onion to create a unique and delicious flavour! Fresh, locally-sourced iceberg lettuce and tomato add a freshness to the burger, and contrast a lightness to the think and sweet onion and the battered chicken.
The Eggplant Schnitzel Burger is one of the amazing vegan creations from Arbour Kitchen! Baby spinach, tomato, and caramelised onion make this burger healthy and hearty, and leaves you feeling full and satisfied. Vegan kewpie mayonnaise is a delicious addition to the burger, and adds a gorgeous creamy texture to the crispness of the fresh produce. The eggplant schnitzel has a crunchy outside, and the eggplant is cooked to perfection, so it bursts with incredible, rich flavours. This burger is the perfect treat for vegans who want a hearty burger, but won’t leave you feeling guilty due to how healthy and fresh it is!
Tagliatelle is a type of ribbon pasta, which chefs at Arbour Kitchen have perfected and paired with smoked pork hock, peas, baby spinach, and candied apple to create an incredible combination of flavours and a dish unlike anything else you can find in Adelaide! The Tagaliatelle comes in a creamy rosè sauce, and has an incredible, rich aroma. The saltiness of the smoked pork hock complements the sweetness of the candied apple perfectly, and makes this dish truly one-of-a-kind. The peas and baby spinach add fresh produce and a smooth flavour to help balance the saltiness and the sweetness in the dish.
The Spaghetti is a simple, yet delicious vegan dish which has lovely flavours and a sensational texture. Asparagus, garlic shoots, spring onion, mint, and sumac are cooked in a light oil and drizzled over the spaghetti. The mint adds a unique flavour as it infuses with the other greens and brings a gorgeous aroma to the dish. The flavours create a light and flavoursome dish which is irresistible in flavour and perfect for the upcoming summer months.
The Soba Noodle Salad is a unique dish which combines asian-inspired flavours, pasta, and beef, to make a delicious summer salad! Cooked soba noodles are cooled, and paired with teriyaki dressing, peanuts, and crispy shallots. This combines to make an asian-infused flavour, with the smoothness of the noodles and the crunchiness of the peanuts and shallots. Asian slaw brings a cool sensation to the dish and adds a burst of colour. Seared beef is allowed to cool and paired with this dish, giving rich flavours and a hearty boost of protein.
The Roasted Chicken Breast Salad is a beautiful combination of flavours and textures. A quinoa base is light and healthy, and has a gorgeous texture which complements the crunch of the croutons. Broccolini and sun-dried tomatoes add colour and flavour to the dish, and the marinated feta is perfect for adding a slight saltiness.
