Entertainment’s Dining Decadence Series is an inaugural celebration of the rich culinary identity that has defined the brand for more than three decades. Once Australia’s most iconic coupon book, Entertainment is now a dining and experience app – and this August, it marks Dining Decadence Month with a curated series of elevated limited edition events across five Australian cities and Auckland, New Zealand.
The line-up celebrates Australia’s incredible food and wine scene, showcasing everything from the finest wines of the Adelaide Hills and Greek plate smashing on the Gold Coast to an exclusive Duck & Pinot dining experience in Melbourne, and more. Entertainment Members receive exclusive early access to tickets at a special member rate before they are released to the general public.
Across August, a stellar line-up of Australian and New Zealand restaurants will present exclusive and bespoke menus designed to showcase the finest seasonal produce in their region. The events will span Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Adelaide and Auckland – offering a taste of the flavours that have defined Entertainment from the nineties to now. Together, they reflect the group’s enduring deep respect for the producers, chefs, winemakers and food-lovers who have helped shape both Australian and New Zealand dining culture into world-leading food and wine destinations.
The Dining Decadence Series is a celebration of all of it: the millions of members, the chefs, the restaurants, and the long-held belief that gathering around a table is one of the most powerful things you can do. Entertainment has been at the heart of some of Australia’s most beloved dining institutions — Catalina, Otto, Pilu, Berowra Waters Inn, Nel, Public Dining Room, Est. — a hallmark of most Australians’ memories.
“Food has always been about more than what’s on the plate. It’s how we connect, celebrate, share stories and create memories. We created Dining Decadence Month as a celebration of an industry we’ve been privileged to support for more than three decades—the chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality teams who have welcomed Entertainment Members through their doors and helped create unforgettable experiences. From the early years of the Entertainment Book, to this day as a modern App, the ‘pages’ have been graced some of Australia’s most acclaimed restaurants. Dining Decadence is our tribute to that legacy and our love letter to the hospitality industry across Australia and New Zealand.” Heidi Halson, CEO, The Entertainment Group.
Since 1994, Entertainment has sat at the centre of some of the most memorable dining moments in this country’s food history — from beloved neighbourhood bistros to the country’s most revered fine dining institutions, where plates are as considered as the service is impeccable. Across its 30-year legacy, Membership has unlocked access to a remarkable roster of culinary icons, including partnerships with multi-hatted legends such as Jacques Reymond Restaurant and the globally celebrated legacy of Paul Bocuse Restaurant — names synonymous with dining at its highest form.
The exclusive line-up of events includes an array of restaurants across Australia, detailed below. Join Entertainment now to get your exclusive access to tickets and support your favourite charity.
