It was only 18 months ago when Branden Kentish and Nathan Peters decided to turn their favourite past time of drinking at bars into a business. Inspired by a European adventure where they got to drink at some of the best bars in the world, they decided to use their insider knowledge and bring a similar business to Adelaide. A night out with the Adelaide Bar Boys is designed for everyone to enjoy, especially with all the tours to choose from. Whether it’s cocktails, gin, beer, whiskey, champagne and sparkling, or one of their wine experiences, there is something to suit all tastes.

To introduce something new as part of this years Fringe season, the boys have introduced the Taste the South Australian Wine Regions tour. The tour is a culmination of ten South Australian businesses coming together and the Adelaide Bar Boys working as a catalyst to allow these new relationships to bloom and for the event to happen. While wine tours are one of our favourite past times, this is something totally different. Customers get to experience some of the best wines from popular wine regions all in the one tour! Not only does it showcase South Australia’s world class wine scene, but it also introduces Adelaide’s booming nightlife.

The walking wine tour of South Australia’s best wine regions begins at the West End of the city at Peter Rabbit. The wine journey begins by showcasing the McLaren Vale wine region. Delicious drops from Wirra Wirra are sampled with a smorgasbord of mouthwatering tapas options. The wine lovers will then make their way over to the West Oak Hotel where they’ll enjoy Jim Barry wines from the Clare Valley region and some canapes to match. The next venue is the Noble Gentleman for some Deviation Road wine from the Adelaide Hills and a grazing board. The final stop is the Brklyn Bar where you’ll experience Barossa Valley wines from Chaffey Bros and a selection of local cheeses. An ideal final stop because you’re the doorstep of all the Fringe action.
