Recently opened just over two months ago and inspired by the 1950s to 1960s American burger shops, Bloomburgers has taken a corner space at Plant 4, Bowden. Health-conscious with a vegetarian and vegan option, Bloomburgers keeps it simple with just four options on the menu. The ingredients come from the central market, and then turn over is swift, ensuring fresh and tasty burgers made daily.
Mitch and Matt, the co-owners of Real Falafel, are also the founders of this delicious burger joint. They have plenty of experience under their belt when it comes to feeding people good food that leaves us satisfied and coming back for more.
With gluten-free option bun, brioche bun, and also vegan bun, they make sure that no one gets left behind. Every one of us can enjoy this quick, tasty burgers. With such affordable price, the burger comes with herbed fries, and they were terrific.
There is even a kids meal which features a cheeseburger with chips.
Now let me take you to a burger journey of the Bloomburgers with more specifics.
I had to start with their Krispy Chicken. The chicken piece was big, and you could tell it will be tasty and crispy, just like the name suggests. I’m also very impressed on how well seasoned the chicken was. Comes with lettuce, tomato, aioli, pickles, cheese and their special sauce. The Krispy Chicken was quickly everybody’s favourite. That first bite was the best part, then second, and third and before you realise, nothing is left.
Moving on to The Class C burger, which comes with 200g beef patty, double cheese, tomato, lettuce, tomato relish, and not forgetting their special sauce. The Class C was excellent. The patty was tender and met all expectations. Kudos to the chef who put in so much effort to not only make the burger presentable but cooked to perfection.
Now comes a burger that is easy to love, the Halloumi Heaven. I was quite surprised as I would never have ordered a vegetarian burger, but I changed my mind after I had this burger. I was indeed in heaven. The combination of the halloumi, rocket, thinly sliced eggplant, harissa hummus, pickles, pickled onion, and caramelised onion worked together so well. I can easily order this again next time, my new favourite vegetarian burger in town!
Last but not least was The Vegan. Even if you’re not vegan, you’ve got to try it; Seriously, it tastes pretty good! You can now enjoy this healthier option with vegan patty, harissa hummus, onion, pickled onion and rocket. One word: Amazing! We loved how tasty and filling this one is. Paired with their chips, you are in for a treat!
You can also find Bloomburgers on UberEats when you cannot find the time to go there. However, being based at the Plant 4 Bowden, you can comfortably relax while taking a stroll to the surrounding shops.
