48 Flavours opens their third store in Paralowie expanding their reach to Adelaide ice cream fanatics just in time for Summer.
This family owned and operated South Australian business is focused on using fresh, local products to create their mouth-watering flavours which are all handmade onsite with the Paralowie location complimenting the already established Gouger Street and Trinity Gardens stores.
48 Flavours focus on making traditional gelato using fresh, local produce to create their unique award-winning flavour range. 48 Flavours are known for developing flavours with an Asian Fusion twist such as the popular Taro and Coconut and Black Sesame even though their gelato is made the traditional Italian way.
Brian O’Donnell, owner said that 48 Flavours are thrilled to extend their following and share their love of gelato with the Northern Suburbs at the brand-new location in Paralowie Village Shopping Centre.
“As a family business we love to interact with our customers and to get involved with the local community, which is why we were attracted to this new location. We felt as though it has a really nice community feel about it and would be a perfect fit for our brand,” Brian O’Donnell says.
“Our flagship store is located in Gouger Street in close proximity to the Adelaide Central Market, new flavours are often inspired by the fresh local South Australian produce that we are so proud to have at our disposal. It’s all about developing flavours that make each ingredient shine, showcasing the best that we have to offer locally.”
“We want to create a space where friends and families can share memorable moments over a dessert that guarantees to make anyone smile. Gelato brings people together, and that’s what we hope to do at our next location,” Brian O’Donnell said.
With a wide variety of dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options, as well as ice cream cakes and take-home packs also available in store – there is a flavour for everyone and a treat for any occasion.
The use of seasonal fresh produce and team of innovative gelato chefs, means 48 Flavours are constantly developing and rotating their flavours to provide their customers with new and exciting flavours (currently in excess of 150 varieties)!
The Paralowie Village Shopping Centre store plans to bring some exciting new flavours such as their strawberry and rhubarb crumble which is set to make its debut upon opening.
Since opening in 2014, 48 Flavours has won 41 international national and state awards for their gelato.
