Marion Hotel has undergone a significant transformation, and to celebrate, the venue is putting on a free event on Monday, 14 October!

The all-ages and family friendly event, ‘Lovin’ Livin’ Locale,’ will see people treated to a night of entertainment, street food and featured South Australian drinks specials to celebrate the completion of the $20 million redevelopment.

The free show will be held at the Marion Hotel on Monday, 14th October in The Garden – the hotel’s expansive dining and entertainment area – from 6pm.

“We’re very excited to be celebrating our new locale with everyone. The Hotel has strong ties to the local community so it’s very important for us to extend the celebrations,” says Sam McInnes, Hurley Hotel Group General Manager.

“The evening will showcase the significant upgrades to The Garden area and will give a peek into what the community can expect from the new space and our exciting program of entertainment.”

The free event will feature the best of South Australia’s local music talents including Heaps Good Friends, The Montreals, Stellie and new young guns Velvet Void.

Marion Hotel’s extensive refurbishment, which was completed in September this year, has given the venue a new lease of life. In addition to The Garden area, the hotel has also recently completed the refurbishment of the Hurley Cellars, function spaces, dining room and 62 accommodation rooms, 50 of which are brand new.

“This opening has been a long time in the works… It is the first refurbishment in 20 years for the Hotel and we want to celebrate with an event to remember!” says Sam McInnes.
