Sean’s Kitchen – Oyster Festival 2017

Gorging on shellfish is one of the finest indulgences you can partake in, but it can also break the bank!

Not this August, though, with this hot tip on the best restaurant to hit up as part of Oyster Festival 2017. Sean’s Kitchen will be dishing up a happy hour with a difference, sending $1 oysters your way. The best part? There are two happy hours every day for the entire month.

After an extremely successful festival in 2016, Sean’s Kitchen at Adelaide’s Sky City Casino has brought back the event, teaming up with Louis Roederer and Laphroaig Whiskey for an all new oyster-inspired menu.

At Monday’s Oyster Festival Launch, Sean Connolly celebrated SA’s amazing produce with an exciting range of dishes. The launch opened with 150 freshly shucked oysters teamed up with fist fulls of fresh lemon and sticky vinaigrette. Guests also sampled omelettes, mini tacos and a prosciutto wrapped beef slider served with a crispy oyster on brioche. Last but not least, a dish inspired by Sean’s Yorkshire heritage, beer battered oysters with mushy green peas and a mulled vinegar dressing.

We are extremely spoilt for quality and flavour in South Australia so get your oyster loving pals together and head into Sean’s Kitchen for a fresh serve of SA’s finest produce.

You can enjoy the $1 happy hours between 12-1pm and 5-6 pm every day in August. Load up and order 100 oysters in one sitting and you will also receive a free bottle of Lois Roederer Champagne.

Now that’s my kind of happy hour! Cheers!
