In Cook Cafe is a brand new eatery located on the north-western corner of Victoria Square among other businesses. The food on offer is best classified as Asian street food with Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and Malaysian. Customers can select from banh mi, salad bowls, chicken dishes, curries and noodle dishes.
For lunch today, I had the Pad Thai. The dish came out within 10 minutes of ordering and was nicely presented on a white oval plate. The noodles were well cooked, and the chicken and prawns were juicy and succulent. The crushed peanuts added a nice crunchy texture, although, personally, I would have preferred the bean sprouts to added to the side rather than being cooked with the dish.
If you’re out and about in Victoria Square, make sure you check out this latest Asian eatery. The staff are friendly and the service is fast and efficient. Ideal for those short lunch breaks.
In Cook Cafe is open from Monday to Friday from 11am-6pm.
