The Collins Bar – The Fashion Collection

Celebrating the Adelaide Fashion Festival, The Collins Bar has released “The Fashion Collection”; a series of limited edition cocktails, inspired by six local designers. In collaboration with the designers, the cocktails were created to capture the essence of each label. The result is a parade of beverages that are not only gorgeous to look at but taste divine.


Sweet and ever so easy to drink the Cinqante The Label cocktail is summer in a glass. Apple, finger lime and passionfruit are the main flavours in this fun cocktail. The Cinquante jewellery collection is renowned for its attention to detail and that sentiment is echoed in the drink which is balanced, refreshing and delicious on every level.


The So It Goes cocktail is a take on the classic Negroni. Sloe Berry Gin and strawberry bitters add a sweetness and fruity dimension to the classic. Stirred with Aperol and Red Vermouth the result is a bold, sexy and herbaceous beverage. The label emphasizes a fuss free approach and the drink is fittingly finished with a large cube of ice and a strip of orange zest.


Keepsake the Label is known for its elegant evening wear and it is no surprise that their cocktail is a seductive indulgence that would perfectly conclude an evening. Like a silky chocolate orange mousse the drink made with orange infused vodka, Cointreau and house made crème de cacao is velvety smooth and delectably sweet.


Paolo Sebastian came to the party with a delightful pink frothy cocktail possessing all the whimsy and elegance of the label. The bar staff commented that these were flying out the door and with good reason. Lemon sorbet, Cointreau, vodka, lemon juice and Aperol have been combined to make a zingy all round delicious drink.


Acler is a unique drink drawing upon the herb dill. Just like the label, the drink emphasises a refined minimalism; Apple vermouth and muddled green apple are combined with dill infused Kettle One vodka producing a sophisticated little number that pairs delightfully with food. A canapé of smoked salmon is a match made in heaven.


Last but not least C/MEO Collective cocktail transports you to a summer garden party. A perfect pre-dinner drink representing the label’s innovative approach and experimental sentiments. A refreshing mix of cucumber, gin, mint and fresh apple juice and lemon juice, shaken hard and served garnished with a cucumber ribbon.


This line up is a limited edition and only available at the Collins Bar until Saturday 29th October.
