Crack Kitchen

Welcome to the Crack House! From the same owners as The Loose Caboose and Whipped Bake Bar Cafe is their latest project, Crack Kitchen. While it might not look much from the outside, the interior has been tastefully decorated. The building is three levels with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. At Crack, the coffee beans are sourced through select traders that have direct relationships with the growers, which are then roasted and blended on site. The milk used is also locally sourced. Of course, it’s just not about coffee, they also have an all day brunch menu.

We had the Gingerbread Pikelets which arrived at our table 15 minutes after ordering. By themselves, the pikelets were plain with subtle notes of ginger. Much of the sweetness came from the mandarin, chocolate and honeycomb. It was an interesting combination of ingredients.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed with a steady stream of customers throughout the day. The food was good and reasonably priced at $17, which is about the average price of meals here.

Come here to get your fix of crack.
