Businesses often undergo rebranding in order to revitalise their business. The owners of Star Dumplings have done just that and have adopted a more generic and easy to remember name. The menu is still the same as what I remember from April last year.
For lunch, I ordered the Fried Chicken Dumplings. The dish arrived 10 minutes after ordering and was average in presentation. The dumplings were fried on one side with some of them more charred than others. The skin was thick and chewy, while the filling was well seasoned and cooked through.
The staff were friendly and the service was good. I came in prior to them opening and they were nice enough to cook me lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed the pricing was reasonable. Each serve comes with 15 dumplings and will set you back $9.80.
