On my way to a big drinking session at the Adelaide Wine Centre, I stumble (no, I wasn’t drunk yet!) onto Blue Lemon who offer a traditional selection of baguettes. Conveniently located across the road from Adelaide University, a lot of their clientele are university students.

Today, I ordered their Smoked Salmon Baguette. It was nicely presented with the salmon protruding from centre. The salmon was of a decent quality and it worked well with the capers and Spanish onion. My only criticism is the size of the baguette. While there was a generous serving of Salmon, all the other fillings were scarce. I guess you can’t fit much into a small baguette.

Staff were friendly and service was good. Most of the clientele are take away customers, however there is seating outside. Based across the road from the university, you do get swarms of people passing you by. Pricing is on par with other places, but these guys don’t do it too badly!
