Adelaide is the number one wine producing state in Australia, so it’s fitting we have a National Wine Centre. I’ve been lucky enough to come here for all sorts of reasons from functions and conferences to cocktail and wine tasting.
I’m a regular here on Friday afternoons. On a Friday every fortnight, they have Uncorked Fridays where a wine producer comes along and showcases their products. On every other Friday, they have Friday’s On Ice, which is the cocktail version of wine event.
With all that food, it’s not suprising that they also serve food to soak up the alcohol. There are a small selection of items on offer and the dishes are simple. On this occasion, I ordered the Chorizo Sausage Pizza. The pizza was ready after a 15 minute wait and was nicely presented. A few toppings here and there with a decent crust. A bit pricier than you would expect but delicious none the less.
