Founded by the dynamic duo, Sunny and Sam, who already boast a successful venture with UR Caffe next door, this new addition to the culinary scene was a natural evolution driven by the insistent requests of their loyal patrons seeking an evening dining option.

Drawing from their rich background in Italian cooking, Sunny and Sam have crafted a menu that pays homage to traditional flavours while embracing innovation. Beyond its gastronomic offerings, UR Pizzeria stands out for its commitment to local sourcing, from the ingredients in their mouthwatering pizzas to the wine selection sourced from nearby wineries.

Even the artwork adorning the walls is a celebration of local talent, reflecting the community spirit that permeates every aspect of this charming establishment. Fully licensed to serve alcohol, UR Pizzeria promises an unforgettable dining experience where culinary excellence meets a warm, welcoming ambiance.

The Arancini were a delightful culinary creation that never fails to impress with their crispy exterior and flavourful interior. These golden orbs of delight, made with risotto rice enveloping a savoury filling of gooey mozzarella, offer a burst of Italian flavours in every bite. The contrast between the crunchy outer shell and the creamy center is a culinary masterpiece, creating a harmonious balance of textures that tantalise the taste buds. This was the perfect way to start any meal.

Oysters Kilpatrick offered a delectable journey for the taste buds, showcasing the freshness of South Australian oysters complemented by the smoky essence of wood-fired grilling. Topped with crispy bacon and a generous drizzle of Worcestershire sauce, each bite was a harmonious blend of savoury and tangy flavours. The oysters, plump and succulent, provided the perfect canvas for the rich umami notes of the sauce and the smoky aroma of the bacon. The grilling process added a delightful charred touch, enhancing the overall sensory experience. Each bite was a testament to the mastery of flavour and technique, making Oysters Kilpatrick an unforgettable indulgence for any seafood enthusiast.

The Prosciutto Crust Co pizza was a culinary masterpiece that left a lasting impression with its exquisite combination of flavours and textures. Generous slices of prosciutto di Parma added a salty richness that harmonised beautifully with the creamy burrata and sharp parmesan cheese. Each bite was a symphony of Italian flavours, showcasing the skill and expertise of the pizza chefs. It was a pizza experience that transcended the ordinary, leaving me craving more long after the last slice was devoured.

The Affluent Sea pizza was a culinary delight that transported the taste buds to new heights of satisfaction. Cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven, it boasted a perfectly charred yet chewy crust that served as the ideal canvas for its luxurious toppings. The combination of tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella cheese, and aromatic garlic provided a flavourful base that set the stage for the star ingredients. Plump, juicy prawns and briny anchovies added a delightful oceanic richness, while bursts of sweetness from the cherry tomatoes balanced the dish beautifully. A sprinkle of fiery chili flakes elevated each bite, adding a tantalising heat that lingered on the palate.

The Fettuccine Carbonara was a decadent delight that captivated the senses with its rich and creamy indulgence. Each forkful revealed perfectly cooked fettuccine coated in a luxuriously velvety cream-based sauce, infused with the salty richness of crisp bacon and the sharp bite of parmesan cheese. The 250g Scotch Fillet steak was a carnivore’s dream, offering a succulent and perfectly cooked piece of meat that melted in the mouth with each bite. Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted a tender texture and a rich, beefy flavour that was complemented beautifully by the accompanying mushroom gravy. Alongside the star of the dish, a vibrant medley of broccoli, cauliflower, capsicum, and carrot provided a fresh and colourful contrast, while the hot potato chips added a satisfying crunch. Each element on the plate harmonised seamlessly, creating a symphony of flavours and textures that left a lasting impression.
