Mk’s Cafe – Food Review

Meet the new kid on the block – Mk’s Café! If you were looking for something cozy and comforting, we have your answer. They’ve just opened up on Hutt Street and are ready to delight Adelaide with their fantastic burgers, fries, shakes and sides!

Named after the owner, Mohammad Khan, Mk’s Café brings Adelaide’s East End homemade burgers that can satisfy any taste. Come and try Adelaide’s new burger joint!

Here is what we enjoyed:

The Frankenstein
This burger brings the best of both worlds. The Frankenstein is a perfect mix of a chicken and beef patty, with spinach, rocket, tomato, red onion and mayo. We loved the addition of spinach and rocket, which added a fresh and peppery taste to the burger.

BLT Chicken Burger
Mk’s café brings a twist on a beloved classic – a BLT. A battered chicken patty is paired with lettuce, tomato, melted cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce. We loved the flavour combination in this burger, especially the perfectly seasoned chicken patty. Not one to miss!

Spicy Chicken Burger
This burger features a battered chicken patty topped with melted cheese, coleslaw, jalapenos and chipotle mayo. Perfect for someone who loves a kick in their food.

The Challenge Burger
This burger is exactly what it says it is – a challenge! Loaded with three beef patties, melted cheese, a stack of onion rings, lettuce, tomato, pickles, chilli sauce and MK’s secret sauce. Do you accept the challenge?

Loaded Baskets:

Chilli Cheese Fries
Mk’s Café know how to do loaded fries. Chilli Cheese Fries are a staple and very much enjoyed here. Crinkle cut fries are topped with a generous serve of ground beef, chilli sauce, cheese sauce, sour cream. Topped with a helping of sour cream and a sprinkle of paprika to make the flavours perfectly combine.

Tater Tot Mayhem
Who doesn’t love Tater Tots? Topped with ground beef, cheese sauce, sour cream, BBQ sauce and spring onion, these Tater Tots sure do pack a punch. We don’t see Tater Tots on the menu very often, so if you love them, be sure to give Mk’s Café a visit!

Thank you so much to Mk’s Café for having us. You can visit them on Hutt Street in Adelaide. They are open every day from 11.00am-9.00pm.
