Bean Bar – City Cross

City Cross Bean Bar recently came under new ownership, and they’re bringing new life to City Cross’ coffee scene! With delicious coffees, gourmet rolls, tasty sweets, and the best service around, the Bean Bar is the perfect place to grab a quick and easy meal to enjoy on the go or in the cafe.

Frank and Teresa Scorsonelli have owned the City Cross Bean Bar for just under a month now, and they already have big plans to turn the place into a coffee and fresh food hotspot in the CBD! Their passion for hospitality is proven in the way they converse with customers and show care in everybody who passes through their doors, and they are keen to provide an even better dining experience in the upcoming months.

With plans to renovate the Bean Bar, Frank and Teresa are hoping to create a beautiful venue where customers can relax and enjoy a coffee and a meal. They will also be adding a kitchen with their renovation, where they plan to develop a menu which will offer lunch and drinks. A liquor license allows them to serve alcohol – so think fish and chips with a nice cool beer for lunch with friends!

With the renovations, there may also be an expansion on the opening hours, allowing time for Happy Hour drinks, as well as dinners on Friday nights – and a strong promise of espresso martinis! Their food is also available outside of the cafes opening hours as they develop their catering services. Having already made some amazing platters for work parties and similar functions, Frank and Teresa hope to continue with their catering and start offering even more catering opportunities.

But even with all the excitement coming up, we can’t forget how great the Bean Bar already is! Frank and Teresa have a strong passion in serving up the best customer service possible, and already they have a loyal group of customers who come not only for the food, but for the friendly service. They are able to create strong connections with their customers, and the regulars at the cafe are already considered family.

Plus, the coffee is to die for, and you can’t go wrong with the fresh sandwiches, rolls, and focaccias. My soy cappuccino was creamy and decadent, and it was made perfectly sweet for my taste! The sandwiches, rolls, and focaccias can all be lightly toasted, and they come with generous amounts of delicious and fresh fillings. I enjoyed an impeccable, toasted focaccia with ham, salami, cheese, and salad, which was a delicious and healthy way for me to fuel up and start my afternoon! You can also order from an assortment of milkshakes, iced coffees, and smoothies that the whole family is bound to enjoy.

So if you’re in the city and need a quick coffee or lunch fix, be sure to visit City Cross Bean Bar, as there is no other Bean Bar with such exquisite and passionate service. Become part of their family, and enjoy with them the amazing features and developments which will be coming soon!
