The Feel Good Friday twilight sessions have returned to Newenham Adelaide Hills, kicking off the event last Friday with a Market Night.

Situated in the stunning Adelaide Hills, the Feel Good Friday events give guests the perfect opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery while enjoying a warm summer evening with friends and family.

Over the next three months, various handmade treasures will be sold, including vintage clothes from Little Miss Waste Not, beautiful candles from Chloe’s Candles, gorgeous plants from Hello Cactus, amazing garden sculptures from A Rustic World by Hayden, stunning flowers from Rose and Radish, natural body-care creams from Hemp Hemp Hooray, handcrafted jewellery from Raven and Wren and other amazing stallholders.

There will also be a plenty of fun activities to keep the kids entertained, so parents can relax in the beautiful environment of Newenham.

The family-friendly event will be running on the first Friday of every month until April, offering up plenty of space for guests to relax, have a wine and take in the live music.

The event hosts an array of food and drink stalls to make any guest happy, and last Friday we couldn’t help but try the delicious Hawaiian Pizza from Two Fat Blokes Pizza that was cooked in a wood oven right before our very eyes; as well as the Vegetarian Paella from Hen’s Paella, that was packed full of flavour and spice.

But if pizzas and paella aren’t up your alley, the event offers plenty of other food from cheese platters from Wendy Jane, to waffles from WaffleStix, as well as an array of local wine, beer and gin beverages from Prancing Pony Brewery, Ngeringa Wines, The Gin Gypsy and more.

For non-alcoholic drinkers, there was also freshly pressed apple juice as well as plenty of tea, coffee, soft drinks and other drinks available.

While relaxing on a picnic rug, watching the sunset with our food and a glass of wine in hand, we were entertained with live music from Che Remedy, as well as a live performance from award winning and non-for-profit organisation, Ink Pot Arts, who performed a sneak peak of their new Fringe show: Jack & Jill and the Beanstalk – An Environmental Tale.

Since December 2017, the anticipated Feel Good Friday sessions have always allowed a variety of local businesses to sell their local and handmade goods, while offering a range of fun activities for the kids as well as a place for adults to relax and unwind after a long week of work.

So don’t miss out on the next Feel Good Friday event as there are just two dates to go:
Friday 6 March 2020 will offer an Arts and Entertainment night filled with various talented entertainers performing along with live music, while Friday 3 April 2020 will host an Easter Celebrations event, offering a range of Easter activities as well as some chocolate surprises.
