IKEA Australia is collaborating with Australian food icon and television personality, Matt Preston, for a series of cooking workshops at 10 of their stores this year.
In an event exclusive to media and IKEA family members, Matt shares his secrets on how to create 6 simple everyday dishes using Swedish Food Market ingredients.
From cooking to outdoor entertaining, Matt’s simple tips and tricks show how IKEA lovers can make the most out of their home and let their kitchen do the hosting.
The workshop took guests on a culinary journey of flavours from around the world and featured bespoke recipes created exclusively for IKEA. This included recipes such as Matt’s Meatball Tacos with Scorched Corn Salsa, Matt’s Ball-ognese, and Matt’s Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream Sandwich with marmalade. Matt used Swedish Market ingredients with easily sourced produce to create a fusion of Swedish flavours, with hints of Mexican and Italian.
