Mugen House – Adelaide

These steamed pork dumplings were bursting with flavour, and authentic Japanese seasoning. With an available vegetarian option, these morsels of deliciousness cater to a variety of dietary needs.


Kara-age Chicken
Deep fried, marinated chicken served with creamy mayonnaise made for a dish that was both flavourfully and texturally complementary. Succulent and crispy all at once, this dish was simple yet dangerously moreish.


Crab Cream Korokke
A rich, velvety filling of crab, corn and onion encapsulated in a perfectly crisp fried outer shell, was the perfect flavour combination. Subtly seasoned yet texturally unique, these crab croquettes were simply divine.


Vegetable Tempura
Deep fried pumpkin, sweet potato, green bean, broccoli and carrot in a tempura batter was another great vegetarian option. Served with sesame oil for additional flavour, this basic combination of elements was surprisingly tasty.


Coleslaw Salad
Fresh coleslaw made from finely cut cabbage, carrot and cucumber was the perfect accompaniment to the other dishes. Dressed with mayonnaise, this salad was light and refreshing.


Salmon Roll
Salmon, avocado, and mayonnaise wrapped in rice and seaweed, and garnished with fish roe, this classic sushi combination did not disappoint.


Teriyaki Chicken Roll
Teriyaki marinated chicken and cucumber with a creamy sushi sauce were paired beautifully, making for another winning flavour combination.


Nigiri
Made from rice and a slice of raw or cooked meat, this expertly crafted Nigiri was fresh and delicious. With multiple seafood options, including salmon and tempura prawn, there is sure to be something for everyone!


Aburi
These seafood rolls, flame seared to create a smoky quality, were thoroughly enjoyable. From salmon to scallops, this sushi was divine.

Sashimi
Beautifully prepared, this fresh salmon sashimi was simple yet tasty. Despite being somewhat of an acquired taste, this raw salmon dish was uniquely flavourful.
