Holey Moley’s first Adelaide iteration launched for the first time back in 2017 and has now got its first refresh with nine brand new holes added, replacing one of its old courses.
The nine new holes include: Jaws-themed ‘Gone Fishin’, Operation-themed ‘Zappy As Larry’, Flintstones-themed ‘Bedrock ‘N’ Roll’, ET-themed ‘The Moon and Pars’, moolah-themed ‘Makin’ It Rain‘, maze-themed ‘Mazed and Confused’; carnival-themed ‘Puttle Shuttle’, magic-themed ‘The Great Hole-Dini’, and record-themed ‘Smells Like Tee Spirit’.
Our personal favourite was ‘Makin’ It Rain’, which shoots cold, hard cash into a closed off box at the press of a big, red button while you make your shot. The new holes join some of the old favourites including the Pac-Man, chess, and Skee-Ball themed courses.
One of Holey Moley’s key appeals is its multifunctional purpose as both an indoor putt-putt course but also as a bar. Like the old courses, the nine new holes each have a table to set down your drinks while you play your turn so there’s no need to down your cocktail before you start playing. What’s more, Holey Moley also offers delicious stone-baked pizza served all night until they close!
Last thing to note is that, while the old course had the Simpsons couch for all your Insta-worthy shots, it’s now been replaced with the Flintstones’ car which is just as roomy and perfect for those group pics!
Holey Moley is located on Pirie Street in the city and is open 12pm til late Mondays to Fridays, and 11am til late on the weekend. Make sure to also check out their website for cheap weekday deals!
