Asian Flavor House – Bloggers Sunset Dinner

Asian Flavor House has recently opened its doors at Holdfast Shores, located on the beautiful Marina Pier. Adelaide Instyle invited an exclusive group of local bloggers to experience a private sunset dinner at the Asian style restaurant, and we were lucky enough to be one of the attendees.

The evening was filled with delicious food, a breathtaking sunset and good company; what more could you ask for?

Asian Flavor House offers many vegetarian and gluten free menu options too, so no one will miss out.

We started off our evening with some classic Spring Rolls, which were perfectly golden and crunchy.

Next up, came two versions of Satay Chicken; one regular and the other vegetarian. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and drizzled in a tasty peanut sauce.

The Sweet and Sour Pork also came with a vegetarian option too. These dishes were one of my favourites. Both showcased vibrant colours and were matched with a punch of flavour, which left my tastebuds wanting more. The original version had more of a crispy finish, while the latter was much softer to the bite.

There’s always room for dessert, right? Well, we certainly think so.

The Fried Ice Cream we ate had a crispy outer, while the middle oozed out; ‘twas a creamy and crunchy delight.

We also tried the Sesame and Green Tea Gelatos, which were both a sensation of sweet flavours. I was unsure when I heard “sesame gelato” at first; however, it was actually my favourite out of all the desserts I tried. The flavour profile worked surprisingly well and I’ll definitely be back for more.

As the sun started to set, we finished off the evening with an Asian style tea in hand – the perfect way to end what was a fabulous evening.

Asian Flavor House certainly delivered an excellent selection of dishes, which caters to all palates while also showcasing the best of Asia. Adelaide Instyle plans to host many more of these exclusive dinners, which will be part of their new activations, coming very soon. We can’t wait to attend the next one!
