Looking for a bit of Thai culture, maybe a taste of Bangkok? Then look no further than Bangkok Boulevard, one of the newest restaurants at the revamped Westfield Tea Tree Plaza.
The menu is bursting with an array of options, to suit even the pickiest of eaters. Buzzing with energy, fun and flavour, this restaurant is the place to be.
We were served a selection of traditional dishes, which were all unique and flavoursome.
The Spring Rolls were a golden and crispy delight, filled with vegetables, vermicelli and sliced black fungus. Served with plum sauce, these went down a treat.
The Kanom Jeeb was a perfect combination of prawn and chicken, steamed and served with sweet soy and chilli dipping sauce. Delicious!
Satay Chicken; need I say more? This grilled marinated chicken arrives on a set of skewers, served with a creamy peanut sauce and cucumber relish.
Who says you can’t make friends with salad? Let me introduce you to the BBQ Wagyu Beef Salad. This fresh salad bed holds medium cooked Wagu beef strips, drizzled in a tangy Thai chilli lime dressing.
The Green Curry is a truly traditional Thai dish. With an assortment of vegetables, green chilli paste and kaffir lime leaves, this combination complements each other perfectly.
Pad Thai is another traditional dish. We decided to add seafood, paired with the classic fried thin rice noodles, crunchy bean sprouts and a sprinkling of crushed peanuts.
My personal favourite was the Crispy Chicken Cashew Nut. The battered chicken breast pieces were crunchy and crispy, perfectly paired with a chilli jam sauce.
The Fried Barramundi with Sweet Chilli Sauce was presented on a bed of bok choy and held a mélange of vibrant flavours. The plating arrangement was that of a culinary extravaganza and really stood out from the other dishes in that regard.
Bangkok Boulevard, is sweet, spice and everything nice!
