CheeseFest + FERMENT – Program Launch

Calling all cheese lovers; this one’s for you!

CheeseFest and Ferment the Festival have joined forces to bring you CheeseFest + FERMENT. This festival will encapsulate all things fermented, meaning not just cheeses, but other eats and beverages too. It will be held from the 27th to the 28th of October in the picturesque Rymill Park, right in the heart of Adelaide.

The festival will have an extensive program, full of activities for food lovers. It will include a host of free demonstrations by:

  • “Master of Fromage” and MasterChef judge, Matt Preston
  • MasterChef Alumni, Jessie Spiby and Callum Hann
  • Revered Chef, Simon Bryant

All cooking demonstrations are free to the public (first in, best dressed) with book signing opportunities after each session.

Experience some of Australia’s best cheeses, including gooey brie, mozzarella and a variety of blues. There will be a record number of cheese and food producers, local restaurants, workshops, live music, speed tastings and activities for the kids. Why not test your knowledge with some cheese trivia too? Delicious prizes will be awarded to winners as well.

For the very first time in 10 years, CheeseFest + FERMENT will introduce the French Quarter, which will serve delicious French cheeses, charcuterie, paired with French Champagne too.

“What a pleasure to spend the weekend surrounded by some of the best cheese in the world” Preston said. “And what better to partner cheese in all its forms – raw or cooked then something fermented to sip, bite or serve alongside your fromagerie favourite.”

Now, let’s cut to the cheese. Tickets are currently on sale online for $25 a day ($30 at the gate), or $40 for a weekend pass. To book tickets, of for more information, visit: www.cheesefest.com.au.
