Angle Park’s McQueens Tavern is shaking things up, launching one hundred brand new milkshake flavours for their menu!

The addition comes after the popularity of McQueen’s hundred burgers menu and the novelty of the idea took off from there.

“We started with about five and obviously, with our hundred burgers, one of my staff jokingly said ‘you should do a hundred milkshakes’ and so, two days later, we had a hundred milkshakes,” says Hospitality Manager, Alex Fairgrieve.

The menu consists of an assortment of milkshakes, thickshakes, spiders, and even hard milkshakes, hard thickshakes, and hard spiders (for the adults, of course!).

Flavours include your typical Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate, but also feature some interesting ones including Toasted Marshmallow, Elderflower, Popcorn, and Tiramisu! According to Alex, more traditional flavours such as Salted Caramel have been most popular.

We honestly didn’t believe McQueens would have one hundred milkshake varieties available so we headed up to the tavern earlier this week to see for ourselves. Sure enough, there were exactly one hundred flavours to choose from (we counted).

We also tried a variety of their shakes including Chocolate, Peach, Blackcurrant, Mint & Galliano, and Lychee (our favourite of the night!).

With a hundred milkshakes and a hundred burgers, what could possibly be next for McQueens?!

“Well, we did launch two sauces today that are on the tables so you never know, there might be a hundred sauces next,” says Alex.

McQueens Tavern is open from 9am til late seven days a week, with the tavern also hosting a sports bar and gaming lounge.
