Come celebrate this Easter with Max Brenner, with the chocolate master releasing two new Easter specials, ready for the long weekend.

For a limited time the Hot Cross Bun Desserts will be on offer in stores all around Australia.

Bringing back traditional Easter flavours, Max Brenner has created the prefect blend of chocolate and hot cross buns, for customers to enjoy.

The Hot Cross Bun Dip is wonderful start to your Easter celebrations. Containing warm hot cross buns to dip into the pure melted milk and dark chocolate, crunchy waffle balls, cookie crumbs, mini marshmallows and sprinkles. The small waffle balls and the cookie crumbs added a crunchy texture to the soft marshmallows and the sweet smooth chocolate dip. The dark chocolate and milk fondue was sweet and the dark chocolate was not too bitter, adding a lovely deeper flavour to the soft buns. The sprinkles added colour and were a fun addition to decorate each mini hot cross bun; each dipping element making you feel like a kid again.

The buns were cute and small; the perfect bite size so you can nibble or even fit the whole thing in your mouth if you desire. The buns were dense and had a good balance of sweet mixed with savoury, with the combination of the bun, cinnamon and chocolate chips.

The Easter Sundae contained scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and warm mini hot cross buns, topped with whipped cream and delicious waffle balls. Served with a pure chocolate drizzle and colourful sprinkles to finish. This was a lovely balance of textures, crunchy and smooth. The flavours were beautiful and sweet, but all the sweet components didn’t make the meal sickly. The Sundae is a lovely dessert with the sweet cool ice cream balancing the warm and slightly savoury buns, with the added freshness of the strawberries. These were beautiful and fresh and added a lovely sweet tang to the dish.

Overall we were very satisfied with the new menu additions and loved the balance of flavours in each dish. The meals are perfect for all ages and great for sharing with loved ones. These Easter specials bring the joy of Easter to all who dine at Max Brenner.
