The former Royal Adelaide Hospital site is being transformed into Adelaide’s creation and innovation hub where more than 5000 people will work and stay each day. It will be a mixed-use precinct that is a dynamic extension of the city and an international commercial hub.
It will combine all things that are great about Adelaide; the artistic depth, entrepreneurial spirit, natural beauty, heritage architecture and its’ energy. This will allow global organisations, business startups, incubators, accelerators and creative talents to take their ideas and inventions across global markets.
In the interim, the former Royal Adelaide Hospital emergency car park, Lot 14, is being converted into a site where you can experience the best of the East End. Adelaide Food Central, and other invited guests, were treated to food from Eros Kafe and drinks from East End Cellars. Other stalls such as Sparkke Change Beverage Co. and Loca Pops were also providing refreshments.
The newest East End spot this festival season will offer a fabulous range of South Australian beer, wine, cider and gin. Not only will there be delicious food, there will also be free live performances. Ideally situated close to the Fringe festivities, it’s the perfect place to hang out with friends. Sit at one of the long tables or roll out a picnic rug and lay underneath a canopy.
Lot 14 is open from Friday to Sunday during the Adelaide Fringe.
