Fulham Pizza

Forget fast food pizza chains, there’s nothing like getting a pizza from your local pizza shop. Down west, we decided to try Fulham Pizza which recently changed hands about 5 months ago. They have 15 traditional pizzas which are available in 4 sizes (small 9 inch, large 12 inch, family 15 inch, party 18 inch) and 9 gourmet pizzas which are available in all sizes except small. They also have sides and breads to compliment your pizza, as well as mains and pastas, if you’re feeling like something else.

Everyone has a different opinion on what makes a good pizza, and at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference. Tonight, I ordered the large Supreme which comes with mozzarella, ham, pepperoni, onion, mushroom, capsicum, olives, pineapple and anchovies on Napolitana sauce. The time between ordering and the pizza being cooked was 15 minutes. From initial observation, I could see a good distribution of toppings on the pizza, however, some of the toppings were slightly burnt. The base was a classic crust style and had a consistent thickness, but once again, it was a bit too firm for my liking. The quality of the ingredients were good as was the taste.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. There is the option to dine in and there are designated parks outside the shop. Pricing is fairly standard and on par with other suburban pizza stores.

Fulham Pizza is open everyday from 5pm till late except Tuesdays.
