Adelaide Law Bistro

More often than not, eateries undergo a re-branding to help freshen up the business. What was once and still known as Delish Real Food, is now the Adelaide Law Bistro. Located just outside The Market Shed, this quaint little cafe forms part of the local IGA supermarket. The flavours are international with some classic breakfast options, pasta, risotto, focaccia, bruschetta, burgers, yiros, pizzas, fried dishes and desserts.

Today, I ordered the Coopers Beer Battered Fish and Chips. A decent sized fish fillet was fried to a light golden brown. The batter was nice and crunchy, and the fish, soft and delicate. Sitting on a bed of crunchy chips, this dish was simple and well executed. The side of tartare sauce was light and tangy, and added depth to the dish.

There are so many options at this place, you’re really spoilt for choice. Not only was lunch good, it only set me back $8.50. In fact, a lot of the menu items are reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience, casual and relaxed. This place gets the thumbs up from me.
