Some of the best cafes in Adelaide are the ones hidden down side streets. They’re away from the busy traffic and there’s the convenience of easily finding a park. Located just outside the city is the popular Loveon Cafe. Set on a nice corner position, the cafe is a large open space full of colourful furnishings and walls adorned by childrens drawings. The all day breakfast menu is full of traditional favourites, while the lunch offerings are more international with some of the dishes inspired by the owner’s Bangladeshi background.
Today we ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh strawberry and blueberry compote, and vanilla ice cream. The dish was ready after a 15 minute wait and was nicely presented. On a large plate were two generously sized pancakes that were light and fluffy. The fruit added a lovely sweetness which complemented the buttery pancakes, as did the rich, creamy ice cream. Part of the breakfast menu, this dish was delicious and satisfying.
The Loveon Cafe is the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the service is fast and efficient. Not only is the place popular among locals, the cafe is child friendly and is ideal for families that want to get out of the house. The average price of a meal is around $12 which is great value in anyone’s language. You can definitely feel the love at the Loveon Cafe.
Loveon Cafe is open everyday from 7am-5pm except Tuesdays.
