Pave Cafe is a little different to all the other eateries down The Parade. The dining space is outdoor and yet protected from the elements. The breakfast menu provides a standard 9 dishes to choose from, and for a lunch, the offerings are a third.

For breakfast, I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon. The dish came out after 15 minute wait and was nicely presented. The eggs were perfectly poached with the egg yolks still nice and runny. The smoked salmon had a silky smooth texture while the hollandaise sauce was thick and creamy. A simple but well executed dish.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was vibrant with plenty of customers around having their morning feed. Pricing is reasonable with their breakfast items ranging between $5-$18.

With plenty of places to eat down The Parade, this place is a breath of fresh air.
