Breadtop have grown in popularity ever since their first store in Adelaide opened within the Chinatown precinct. One of their newer stores is located in Westfield Marion on the ground floor. A popular franchise with over 60 stores in Adelaide, they have over 150 items on offer which includes various types of bread, pastries and sweets. Everything here is baked fresh and free of preservatives.

Today, I ordered the Rainbow Gateau which consisted of layers of coloured sponge cake held together by a smooth and delicate cream. At $4.70 a slice, this is cheaper than what you would pay at any other cafe. The quality of the cake was good too.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed, even amongst the hustle and bustle of a busy shopping centre. The pricing is really good and possibly one of the cheapest places to grab something to eat inside Westfield Marion. It’s got my thumbs up.
