Described as lemonade for “grown ups”, Lemon Ed is like an alcoholic lemon squash that is 100% Australian made. The drink is light and subtly sweet with delicate hints of lemon. The flavours are not overpowering and has been designed to cater for the masses.

Not only is Lemon Ed good for drinking but it’s the main ingredient in a great tasting cocktail called “Ed’s Punch”. Combined with ginger, cucumber and vanilla, this is a perfect drink for a hot Summer’s day.

The Lemon Ed Bombe Alaska was one of my favourite desserts for the night. The soft delicate meringue worked perfectly with the subtly sweet Lemon Ed mix. These were so good, I had half a dozen of these on the night.

The Lemon Ed Sorbet was delightfully refreshing. Similar to Lemon Ed mixed with crushed ice, the smooth texture was heightened by the cold ice particles. This is perfect for any time of the day.

Last but not least was the Lemon Ed Lemon Curd Tarts. A soft delicate meringue sat on top of a lemon curd filling that was specially mixed with Lemon Ed. The tartness of the lemon curd was balanced by the subtle sweetness of the Lemon Ed. Encased in a firm crumbly shortbread tart shell, this was a perfect dessert to end the night.

Lemon Ed is quite addictive and it’s very easy to have more than one drink. Available at most hotels and pubs across the country, Lemon Ed is set to be the favourite lemonade for grown ups.
