It’s been nearly 2 years since my previous visit to Waffle’s Waffle & Cone, and it was only a less than satisfying lunch prior to this that brought us here. The menu is fairly identical to what I last remember, and even the decor is still the same. My friend wanted waffles and this place is one of the cheapest in Adelaide.

I ordered the Cinammon and Banana Belgium Waffle. The waffle was freshly cooked and the texture was light and airy. It tasted good but doesn’t compare to the Liege Waffle with it’s crunchy embedded sugar pearls. The ice cream scoop was the cheap supermarket variety which I also found disappointing.

My friend had the Fruit Belgium Waffle. It was almost like mine but with the addition of strawberries and kiwi fruit.

The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed mainly due to us being the only customers in the store. As far price goes, their small waffles start at $4, while my waffle set me back $9 and my friends $11.60.
This place has been around for a while so they’re obviously doing something right. Their Belgium waffles aren’t the best I’ve tasted but it does seem the place to go for a quick cheap sugar fix.
