Singma Delights is a small take away store located in the Renaissance Arcade food court. Specialising in Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine, this place offers all your classic noodle, rice and soup dishes. Some of my favourites include the Hainan Chicken Rice, Laksa and the Fried Kway Teow.

For lunch, I ordered the Fried Kway Teow which was ready after a 10 minute wait. The dish was beautifully presented and the serving was generous. The prawns were juicy and succulent, and the barbecue pork was lean and well marinated. The rice noodles were firm yet delicate, and the bean sprouts provided a nice crunchy texture. The dish was full of flavour, and the quality was up to restaurant standards.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the service was fast and efficient. The cost of the dish was $9.30 which was fantastic considering the execution, portion size and quality of the ingredients. In fact, everything on their menu is under the $10 mark. I know people cringe when they hear food court, but this place is a real hidden gem.
This is one of my favourite lunch spots when I’m at this end of town.
