Olive & Edith is a small stall inside The Market Shed on Holland. As far as food is concerned, there are 3 types of hot bagels on offer; the bacon and egg hollandaise, bacon and smashed avocado, and the triple b (slow cooked beef, horseradish hollandaise and caramelised onion). They also have freshly squeezed bottled orange juice, lemonade, and a selection of chemical free produce.

For breakfast, I had the Bacon and Smashed Avocado Bagel. The bacon was fried until nice and crispy, and the avocado was smooth and creamy. Not quite a fan of the two ingredients together but it is what it is. The bagel was firm and doughy, and ensures you don’t leave on an empty stomach.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. The cost of the bagel was $7.50 which is not bad considering most of the other stalls are more expensive. Having said that, the bagel wasn’t particularly large in size, so in some ways, you pay for what you get.
A lovely little stall inside The Marketshed on Holland.
