Eateries providing healthy meals are a popular trend at the moment as people are looking towards healthier alternatives when eating out. Paparazzi have acknowledged this and provided a healthier extension to their existing menu. The new clean eating menu has offerings that are preservative and gluten free, have no processed sugar and contain no cow dairy. Natural sugars (honey, maple syrup and dried fruit) and goat dairy will be indicated on the menu where applicable.
The Green Detox Smoothie contains baby spinach, stalk celery including leaves, cucumber, banana, green apple, parsley, lemon, ginger, mint and coconut water. A clever concoction of ingredients that have contrasting flavours which combine to keep you regular.
The Anti-Aging Smoothie contains blueberries, banana, strawberries, almond milk, acai berry powder, maqui berry powder and cacao powder. This all star cast of berries will have both your taste buds tasting sweet and your skin looking that way as well.
The Zucchini Slice contains zucchini, carrot, onion, goats cheese, buckwheat flour, olive oil, eggs and spices. The natural sweetness of the onion works well with the tangy smooth texture of the goats cheese. The slice is light and spongey and would be well complimented with a salad.
The Mediterranean Quinoa Salad consists of quinoa, coriander, parsley, red onion, seeds and nuts, capers, currants, lemon juice and olive oil. This salad is delicious, particularly with the different flavour profiles and textures. The sweetness of the onion and currants, the crunchiness of the nuts, and the tartness of the lemon juice all work together in perfect harmony.
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Chicken is made up of chicken, tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic, almonds, goats yoghurt, spices and coriander. This has to be the dish of the night. It’s tastes exactly like Butter Chicken but has none of the unhealthy bits. The person who came up with this recipe deserves an award.
The No Bun Burger comes with a salad of onion, parsley, lettuce, tomato, goats cheese, sunflower seeds, lemon juice, tamari, herbs, carrot, zucchini, almonds and coriander. This is perfect for those trying to cut down on carbohydrates and yet still want to enjoy all the trimmings of a burger.
Andrea’s Best Bliss Balls are made up of nuts, sulphate free dried fruit, raw cacao, rice malt syrup, tahini and cacao nibs. These bliss balls taste as good as they look. The crunchiness of the nuts, and the sweetness of the dried fruit and cacao, will create a heavenly bliss.
The Paleo Florentine Spiders contain nuts, seeds, sulphate free dried fruit, coconut oil, raw cacao and maple syrup. The crunchiness of the nuts and sweetness of the dried fruit are held together by delicate layers of chocolate. It’s sweet nutty goodness all at once.
The Triple Choc Swirl Cashew Cheesecake is made up of macadamias, dates, raw cacao, cashews, raw honey, coconut cream and coconut oil. Chocolate and cheesecake are a match made in heaven, and even more so with the sweetness of the dates and honey complimenting the crunchiness of the macadamias and cashews.
The Lime and Kiwi Cashew Cheesecake is made up of almonds, macadamias, coconut, sulphate free dried fruit, coconut oil, cashews, lime, coconut cream and arrow root. A soft and delicate cheesecake that combines the sweetness of the dried fruit with the crunchiness of the almonds and macadamias. The tartness of the lime takes the cheesecake to a whole new level.
