Wave is a gourmet supermarket, bar and cafe all in one. The whole place is spacious and beautifully laid out, with the supermarket and grocery section on one side and a cafe on the other. There is a breakfast menu, a normal menu, desserts and beverages on offer, and if you still can’t decide, you can select something from the deli and have it instore.

Today, I decided to have something a little sweet and ordered the White Chocolate Cream Cronut. The cronut was a decent size and was nicely presented. The pastry was light and flaky, although I did find it a little bit oily. The amount of cream inside the cronut was very generous but a little on the bland side. The chocolate and vanilla icing on top of the cronut made the dessert look appealing, but it had little affect on the taste.

The staff were friendly and service was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pricing was fair in my opinion. The cronut cost $5.90, which considering it’s side, was reasonable.

This place lacks the basic essential items, but it’s certainly not a bad place to go for those emergency items.
