Amalfi

Amalfi is so good that you shouldn’t even bother trying to come here without a booking.

The dining area is efficiently used at this place. For what could be described as cosy, they’ve tried to cram in as many tables and seats into the restaurant as possible. The atmosphere is vibrant with waiters hustling past you every 5 minutes. On a Saturday night, the place can be quite loud. The staff here are friendly and the service can be a bit slow during busy periods.

Last night, I ordered the Rigatoni Ragu. The meal came out 20 minutes after ordering and all meals arrived at the same time. My Ragu was delicious! The dish was piping hot when it came out, the pasta almost burnt my mouth. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The chunks of beef were lean, succulent and plentiful. The sauce was well balanced and rich in texture. This was the best Ragu I’ve ever had!

This is my new favourite Italian place in the city. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.
