Little Ladle Hotpot

Little Ladle Hotpot will fast become a favourite hotspot for those wanting to create their own Asian adventure.

Opening in April 2026, the new restaurant sits in the heart of Adelaide’s western suburbs, known for its exquisite attention to great Asian cuisine.

Hotpot restaurants in Adelaide are seeing a surge in popularity thanks to flexible menus, where you personally select the ingredients for your dish.

Michael Du, Little Ladle Hotpot Owner and Manager, says warmth, flavour and fun are at the heart of Little Ladle.

“It’s a place where friends and families can come together to enjoy a dining experience that’s as much about connection as it is about food,” says Michael. “Little Ladle offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that captures the essence of comfort and community dining.”

A variety of rich, aromatic broths form the base of Little Ladle Hotpot’s dishes, where diners then select from a wide range of fresh marinated meats, seafood and vegetables, all prepared daily to ensure top quality and flavour.

Soup bases will include tomato, mushroom and tom yum options. There will also be the popular Sichuan malatang choice, a rich milky broth made from slow-cooked beef or pork bones and flavoured with spicy chilli bean paste and Sichuan peppercorns.

Malatang will also feature in a dry stir-fry hotpot option, while side dishes will include the fried pastry youtiao, and hollow sesame doughnuts.

Perfect for family celebrations, date nights, or casual catchups, Little Ladle Hotpot will be a hub for warmth and enjoyment.

Little Ladle Hotpot opens this April at Westfield West Lakes.
