Lola’s Wine Bar

The East End Cellars Group has officially opened Lola’s in Norwood, an urban space that effortlessly blends wine bar and bistro  vibes catering to locals wanting to enjoy quality wine and great food in a relaxed setting.

Open six days a week, Lola’s is an unpretentious space where you can sip on a cocktail while enjoying a few snacks, wind down  with a glass of wine after work, or come in for some good vibes on the weekend while the vinyl DJ plays some tunes.

Lola’s Co-owner, Olivia Gorman, says Lola’s is more than just a wine bar. “Think wine bar, to cocktail bar, to bistro – it’s a place to unwind, connect and relax,” says Olivia.

“For the Norwood community and surrounding suburbs, Lola’s is a spot that all can enjoy in whatever way that suits them.”

Lola’s also brings neighborhood bistro vibes to Adelaide’s east for those wanting a more in-depth dining experience. The menu features a range of small eats to accompany delectable cocktails and wines such as oysters, rayu (Japanese chilli oil) and grilled mushrooms, egg yolk, lardo, but also has an a la carte menu to please bigger appetites including the likes of pork milanese, caper butter, remoulade, rocket salad and mussels, sobrasada, fregola, fennel.

It doesn’t stop there. With the occasional disco, Lola’s serves a great scene with all-day drinks, bringing the vibe and mood for date nights, get togethers and celebrations.

“It’s a place for friends and fun where raw elements and elegance balance,” says Olivia. “And not to forget, Lola’s also offers take-away wines and beers.”

The interiors have been designed by Adrian Condina | Interior Design Studio, where inspiration has been drawn from the romance

and depth of wine itself, focusing on a palette that moves through bold rouge, delicate rosé, and the luminous glow of champagne.
