The iconic Westpac House, lobby has long been lauded for its stunning architecture and prime CBD location, and now South Australians can reconnect with this Adelaide landmark through a new five-star wine and coffee experience.

Vault 91 will leverage Adelaide’s growing reputation as a business destination by providing patrons with one of the most extensive and unique wine lists available, as well as coffee, food and events all in the one central CBD location.

What originally started out as scribble on a napkin soon turned into a fully-fledged wine bar, said co-owner Paul Shaw.

“We were given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by Westpac House owners ICAM and Abacus to create an experience in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD to cater for Adelaide’s growing business community, travellers and general public alike,” Mr Shaw said.

“The end result is a high-end bar and coffee offering that truly brings this iconic Adelaide space to life. We also hope Vault 91 will activate the entire precinct, as we all continue to come back into the city post-Covid lockdowns and restrictions.”

The Vault 91 coffee and food offering will be available Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 5.00pm, while the wine bar will open Wednesday to Friday until late.

Co-owner Micha Ilic said Vault 91 would take guests on a journey to some of the world’s finest wine regions.

“My background is providing the very best service possible as well as encouraging and challenging people to get out of their comfort zones and try something new,” Mr Ilic said.

Vault 91 will also provide a home base, catering for the many tenants and their staff housed at Westpac House.

“A large part of the offering is to ensure tenants are well looked after, so we have implemented a personal coffee concierge system where coffee can be ordered straight to your desk” Mr Shaw said.

“Our motto will be that every member of the community will be welcomed with the same first-class service and top-grade wine, food and coffee that will always leave a smile on our guests faces.”

Vault 91 will also host year-round events utilising the undercover foyer for large events and public activations and smaller intimate events in the lobby bar and sunken lounge.
