Stamford Grand Adelaide – Mad Hatter’s High Tea

Are you getting curiouser and curiouser about what you can do in the school holidays? Well the Stamford Grand Adelaide has the answer with their fun and kid-friendly Mad Hatter’s High Tea!

Running every Sunday of the school holidays, this brilliant High Tea is perfect for both adults and children. Upon arriving to the beautiful ballroom with stunning ocean views, adults are offered a glass of sparkling and kids are offered a delicious mocktail of their choice. The tables are decorated with gravity defying tea pots and cups, along with some oversized playing cards.

We were lucky enough to sample some of the food and it was absolutely scrumptious! Savoury options include sandwiches (crust free of course!), flavourful arancini balls, and yummy mini quiches.

The dessert tier is so fun – the macarons have edible tick tock clock faces, mini cupcakes are donned with edible Cheshire Cats, and the vanilla sponge squares literally say “Eat Me”! Everything was so tasty and freshly made.

Then comes the top tier! Scones can either make or break a High Tea and these scones knocked it out of the park (or croquet field, perhaps!). These unique and super soft carrot and cream cheese scones can be topped with as much jam and cream as you desire.

One of the best parts is that there will be a magician to entertain the kids, and there’s also a prize for “Maddest” costume. So don’t be late for this very important date and have a brilliant and bonkers time!

The Mad Hatter’s High Tea at the Stamford Grand Adelaide is on from 2pm-5pm on Sunday 26th September, Sunday 3rd October, and Sunday 10th October.
