Red Rooster – Crunchy Fried Chicken

Red Rooster is an Australian icon and Australia’s first and favourite chicken shop. Founded in 1972, it has been serving families and the community for almost 50 years, and has been satisfying Australia’s chicken cravings with their famous roast chicken.

As part of an exciting time of change and innovation for the brand, they have added Crunchy Fried Chicken to their menu, and it’s finally come to South Australia!

Red Rooster previously only specialised in roast chicken, but with the introduction of Crunchy Fried Chicken, they’re set to be the leader in all forms of chicken. Their new product is unlike anything currently on the market.

The new menu item kickstarts a period of major change and innovation for the iconic Aussie brand. Other changes for the franchise include restaurant refurbishments, uniform upgrades, menu innovation and advances in technology and convenience.

Red Rooster’s Crunchy Fried Chicken uses 100% Australian chicken, prepared daily at the restaurant by trained staff before being coated, battered and cooked to perfection.

The new menu item is how fried chicken should be; crunchy and golden on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Take it from us, it’s delicious and totally addictive, and will keep you wanting more!

Red Rooster is a national network of franchises. Each restaurant is an individual small business owned and operated by a local. Not only do they feed the local community, they also employ locals and through charity and sponsorships these family-owned businesses give back to the community as well.

Red Rooster can be found at these locations in South Australia:
