Adelaide Fringe 2019 – Jukebox Revolution

Last night we had the pleasure of attending Jukebox Revolution, a fantastic show that celebrates the music icons of the 20th century. Fronted by Boys In The Band, this concert is a trip through time and through the greatest hits of the world’s most beloved musicians.

Beginning with the birth of Rock N Roll, Boys In The Band kicked off with the tunes from Elvis Presley, Johnny O’Keefe and Bill Haley and His Comets. We were truly rocking around the clock with the beats from the 1950s!

The show carried on with a taste of the 1970s, with The Jackson 5 and Bee Gees, even an AC/DC mention! The band got the whole room up dancing, with everyone knowing the words to every song. We absolutely loved hearing our favourite songs from years gone by and tapped our feet the whole way through!

Towards the end of the show, Boys In The Band went on to give us fantastic melodies from The Beatles and Queen, and made the complex vocals and harmonies seemingly effortless. The Beatles melody was a fantastic mix of their greatest hits, both the classics and the ballads. Their Queen melody was certainly a huge highlight, especially with the huge recent success of the Bohemian Rhapsody film.

This show certainly was a favourite for us, we loved the passion from Boys In The Band along with their harmonies and obvious talent. We hope to catch them again in Adelaide very soon!
