Last night Adelaide Food Central was invited to see the opening night of Just Desserts, located in the Courtyard at the Treasury Hotel on King William Street.

Michelle Pearson the beautiful star of the show is not only a talented cook and caterer, but also an amazing performer and cabaret singer. So why not join these two talents together and create an entertaining and delicious fringe show? Michelle’s performance not only had a mixture of delicious treats and singing but a strong message shun through, you should be happy in your own skin. It was fantastic to see Michelle doing two things she is so passionate about and showing this amazing passion to her audience. It was also great to see how much support she had from her bakers and her talented band. Without their support she would not been able to put on a show as well as she did. You could tell from her words that she was truly grateful for the successful evening.

We were also in awe of Michelle’s strong and beautiful voice, and our taste buds were in admiration of her delicious cooking. We sampled three baked goods including baklava, chocolate brownie and a chocolate covered surprise. I don’t really know what can get better than a fringe show that incorporates food, and cabaret.
