Are you a Game of Thrones fan who’s keenly awaiting the arrival of the eighth and final season of the show? Are you also daunted by the prospect of not being able to remember important plot points once the new season is here? Then fear not, because Thrones! The Musical Parody is your one-stop shop for a humorous and satirical take on HBO’s most popular show. But no matter how well you know the show (or the books), this musical will catch you off-guard in the most delightful way.
Through hilarious songs and witty dialogue, this animated performance recounts important moments throughout seasons one to seven. With the help of cleverly-designed props and a sprinkling of other pop culture references, Thrones had us laughing the whole way through. Their comical take on pivotal moments in the show was brilliantly executed, and it was evident that everyone in the audience enjoyed it just as much as we did. The combination of crude, risqué humour (in true Game of Thrones fashion) and magnificent musical theatre made it difficult not find the show utterly gripping.
Thrones! The Musical Parody will be on show at The Flamingo in Gluttony until March 17th. This is one Fringe show that’s not to be missed!
