Gathered SA – VIP Event

On Thursday night, we were lucky enough to be invited to the Gathered SA VIP Event showcasing the talented vendors that will be featured in next month’s market. From whiskey to floral wreaths to candles, Gathered presents some of SA’s finest small businesses.

Upon entering Queen’s Theatre, we were immediately greeted by a luxuriously-styled lounging area courtesy of By The Oak Tree. Two other similar stations were dispersed throughout the theatre, complete with professional lighting and equally impressive décor – an instagrammer’s paradise. Next, we explored the well-stocked tables displaying unique and varied expressions of artistry by the creative minds of Adelaide. Beautiful homewares from Cutting Etch Design, Marnie and Mister, Pixie and Co, and Naturally Craft were featured alongside Reb Vegan Cosmetics, Chesterfield Whiskey, and Chook Shed Designs, just to name a few. We were blown away by the wonderful array of talent being showcased, and thrilled that the event was supporting some magnificent local businesses.

The Hive Caravan Bar kept the champagne flowing throughout the night – a perfect accompaniment to the delectable cuisine provided by Moi An, Enfes Delights, and El Choto Paella Catering. By the end of the night, we were happily stuffed with spring rolls, satay skewers, gözleme, and paella. Each dish was bursting with flavour and colour, and always left us wanting another bite. Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without dessert; decadent salted caramel brownies by Gourmet Brownies and flower jellies from Wobbly Blooms (which were almost too pretty to eat) satisfied our sugar cravings, and was the perfect way to end the night.

As you’ve probably gathered from this article, the Gathered Market is not something you’d want to miss out on. The next market will be taking place from the 14th-15th of April at Queen’s Theatre, so make sure to check out the diverse range of products on offer – you won’t be disappointed!
