The Vogue Festival Wrap Party hosted by East End Social has revealed their key Spring Summer trends that will feature at the inaugural day time event on Vardon Ave this Saturday 14 October 2017.
Littlelion PR resident stylist Nicola Lynch said that prints would rule the runway this season.
“Bold blocky stripes are the pattern de juor and botanic, oversized blooms and floral prints will take center stage. It’s all about making a statement and fusing different looks, mixing and definitely not matching! Likewise with accessories, it’s time to embrace the adage – the more the better,” says Nicola.
The finale will pay homage to Australian Fashion Labels who are celebrating their 10 year anniversary as an Australian and International fashion juggernaut. Their ‘Floral Tribute’ will feature BNKR brands, C/MEO Collective, Keepsake the Label, Finders, The Fifth Label and JAGGAR Footwear who will take out the show.
Gabrielle Leonello, Littlelion PR Director said shoppers are spoilt for choice when it comes to the East End traders who feature a number of the hottest labels and trends this season.
“The runway show has been beautifully styled by Nicola. We have a number of surprises have been planned including a neon pink runway to mark the Vogue Festival color and a not to be missed surprise opening for the runway show. The entertainment will continue on throughout the day with an awesome DJ line up and a screening of the globally acclaimed Collision Course by Artistic Director Garry Stewart from the Australian Dance Theatre on a massive Novatech LED screen,” she said.
The music lineup features three renowned local DJ’s that call the End End home. Behind the decks will be: host of Fresh FM’s ‘The Jump’, Caroline Tucker (aka CARZi); Fashion Festival Music Director, Filip Ozdak who also plays a Mary’s Poppin (aka Filip with an F) and legend of the decks and owner of the iconic Sugar Nightclub Driller Jet Armstrong will have the closing set.
“This event is about collaboration. We are working with the best in the business from fashion, models, music, food, wine and spirits – right through to hair and make up – everyone is a pro,” said Gabrielle.
Pride Models and all entertainers will be styled by Media Make Up and Clip Joint.
Rebecca Cochrane, CEO of Media Make Up said that the three make up looks that will feature on the runway epitomise current beauty trends; showcasing radiant bronzed dewy skin, peachy tones with enhanced highlighting and a welcome hint of shimmer.
Atilio Dusa will lead the renowned Clip Joint Team to create the hair looks. He said that Spring Summer hair trends are all about colour and healthy hair. He said that it’s about choosing the best shade for your complexion, from cool pastel tones, creamy beige to strawberry blondes.
