Rundle Street is the place to be at the moment in Adelaide, it is the hub for everything Fringe related. However, Renew Adelaide has brought new life to the Fringe this year with the showcasing of South Australian artists, designers and craftspeople at the Gathered. Market which has temporarily replaced the American Apparel store next to the Austral Hotel.

The collaborative efforts of Renew Adelaide’s Tim Boundy, and Gathered. Market’s Jenna O’Dell, have brought you this pop-up market. It is excitingly situated within the hustle and bustle of the Fringe, so is well-worth checking out.

Renew Adelaide has made leaps and bounds as a creative enterprise, making trendy use of vacant spaces in Adelaide. Gathered. Market is just one of the examples. Store holders have a range of locally made jewelry, candles and canvas artwork just to name a few. South Australia is ‘heaps good’ at supporting local businesses, and Gathered. Market is a fantastic endeavor for this. This project really highlights the creativity and progressiveness Adelaide has, something which can really give Melbourne a run for their money.
